Day 1 - From Delhi to Agra
- Delhi to Agra by Air-conditioned car
- Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World
- Visit Mehtab Bagh, a garden across the Yamuna River
Day 01 - New Delhi – Agra (204 kms)
Your tour will start in the morning around 06:00 AM. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel / Airport or other desired location in New Delhi and proceed to Agra through Yamuna express way by private car. This will take around 3 hrs. to reach Agra. On arrival, Check-in to the hotel and meet with your guide. Afterwards, proceed to visit Taj Mahal.
11:30 AM - Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is the epitome of Mughal art and one of the most famous buildings in the world. Later proceed to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you will have the best view of the Taj Mahal.
1:00 PM - Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb
After breakfast, proceed for city sightseeing tour of Agra visiting Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb known as Baby Taj. It was buitl by Nooejahan in the memory of her father. With its highly ornate edifice, this mausoleum is considered as the predecessor of the Taj Mahal as far as elaborate carvings and inlay work are concerned.
2:00 PM - Lunch Time
Have lunch at a restaurant (cost not included in the tour price).
3:00 PM - Agra Fort
Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site spread over 2.5 km and made of red stone. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.
4:30 PM - Mehtab Bagh
Later we will proceed towards Mehtab Bagh (the sunset point), back side view of Taj Mahal. Here you will see the magnificent reflection of Taj Mahal over the river Yamuna during the time of sunset. Here you will also explore the sunset view of a Taj Mahal. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 02 - Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – New Delhi
Embark on a trip to Fatehpur Sikri, a well-preserved ghost town once Emperor Akbar's capital.
2:00 PM - Lunch time
Have lunch at a restaurant (cost not included in tour price).
3:00 PM - Tour End
Head back to Delhi in a comfortable ride.
